(All teachers) Creating a work-Life balance – SESSION FULL

October 22, 2018 @ 12:45 pm - 3:00 pm

Dr. Zina Suissa, Executive Coach/Psychologist, Resonance Executive and Team Coaching

Workshop Code: #LL15
Room: 360

The goal of the workshop is to provide teachers with an understanding of the importance of work-life balance, as well as to help them gain a balance for themselves. This workshop will be both knowledge-based and interactive.

We will cover the reasons why creating a work-life balance is important, have a discussion on priorities and barriers, and review habits of people who have achieved a balance. Participants will then identify how to create a balance in their life by charting their work-life balance in an activity.

Principles and practices of work-life balance will be investigated as we discuss ways to create well-being at work. Participants will be provided with handouts.

Zina holds a Master’s in Psychology from McGill University and a Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Montreal. She is a leadership and team coach, having completed her coach training at the University of Texas at Dallas, and is a member of the International Coach Federation and the Order of Psychologists of Quebec.

Zina was an Adjunct Professor and Coordinator of Organizational Behaviour in the Career and Management Studies at McGill University and taught workshops at the undergraduate, graduate diploma and M.B.A. levels. Dr. Suissa is currently the President of Resonance Executive and Team Coaching and provides coaching and training to executives, leaders and teams in the areas of self-awareness, conflict, employee engagement, growth mindset, work-life balance, to name a few.
