On the side you will notice that you can decide which categories are visible to you. Please choose your grade level and the language(s) that interest you to give you your best selection.

Make sure that with your final selection you have either one full-day workshop or a morning and an afternoon workshop by looking at the time given in the workshop description. Please make sure to write down the code and/or the title of your choice(s) to simplify your registration. When you have made all your choices, click the registration button on the bottom of the page. (All teachers) Turn your students into writers

In this workshop teachers will learn how to motivate their students to write their own stories that connect to their personal history, and gain the tools to help them become authors. They will also learn how to publish the books created to help their students become published authors.

Requirements: Bring a laptop (not a tablet)

Melinda is an author, writer and educator with experience in ESL, health and fitness, special needs, history and literacy. She is a speaker, radio host, award-winning author, poet and publisher. She received the Mary Belle Campbell Scholarship for Poetry from the North Carolina Writers Network and was nominated for best young adult book of the year in the 2013 Quebec Writer’s Federation awards.
